Imagine taking a course that allows you to travel to the breathtaking country of Ghana working with real-world businesses as a consultant to make an impact on their business. The Center for Business, Health, and Prosperity in partnership with Eccles Global offers a course that does just that. ENTP 5800/6800 – Entrepreneurship and Poverty Alleviation is offered in both fall and spring semesters with travel taking place over the university breaks. Students spend the first part of each semester reading and preparing for their consultation roles in Ghana and then over fall or spring break they put their knowledge to work in Ghana.
As we head into the spring semester with many students looking at what to take this upcoming fall and even next spring, let’s take a look back at what students enrolled in the course from fall 2022 had the opportunity to experience.

The Center also offers a 4-week course over the summer through Eccles Global and a Prosperity Science Internship. Course enrollment and internship opportunities are open to all majors. Learn more Eccles.link/BHP under student experiences.
