Information Session/Luncheon

Information sessions are a great way to find out more about the Professional MBA program. Sessions begin with a presentation that gives an overview of the curriculum, faculty, and admissions process. This is followed by an opportunity to hear from current students and alumni and a Q&A period. You are welcome to bring a sponsor, colleague, friend, or spouse.

Advisors on Location

Are you a working professional considering an MBA from the University of Utah’s Professional MBA program? We hold informal events all around town, so drop by and meet our admissions advisors for lunch and learn about our evening MBA. If you have questions about the admissions process, curriculum, and/or student life, this is a great opportunity to have your questions answered in a one-on-one setting. We encourage you to come see firsthand why the University of Utah may be a good fit for you!

GMAT Workshop

Come and learn test-taking tips and strategies to help you prepare for the GMAT exam. This 2.5 hour, evening class will give a general overview of the GMAT exam and review the quantitative, verbal, analytical writing, and integrated reasoning sections.

Financing Your MBA Workshop

A University of Utah financial aid associate will discuss how to access financial aid for your MBA. Also hear from a tax expert on the potential deductibility of MBA tuition. A Q&A session will follow.

Developing a Competitive Application Webinar

During this interactive session, the Professional MBA admissions team will walk you through the PMBA application step by step and answer questions. This webinar will also help you learn how to make your application more competitive and stand out.

Advisor Night

The Professional MBA team invites you to schedule a one-on-one appointment to meet with an advisor who will give you a personalized overview of the program and answer any questions you may have on topics such as the program format, application process, GMAT, and much more.

As an alternative, we are also happy to meet with you individually at a time of your convenience to discuss the program and your particular case for admission. Please select a date and time that will work best with your schedule and contact our office, and we will confirm that your requested appointment is available.

Women’s Events

Women are key contributors at the University of Utah.  We are committed to enrolling top-quality female candidates to increase the number of women in professional leadership roles.  Come meet local PMBA current students, alumni and members of the admissions committee, expand your personal network and see if the PMBA program is right for you.

Class Visit

Have you wondered how it’s possible to manage full-time work and be part of Utah’s #1 part-time MBA program? How do you balance school, work and personal lives? Are you ready to go back to school? Join us for a class visit to get a first-hand look at life as a Professional MBA student. Email pmba@utah.edu to schedule a date.

There are a limited number of seats in the classroom for prospective students. If you need to cancel, please contact the PMBA office at least one week in advance. Prospective students are permitted one classroom visit.
