Scholarships

Admissions Scholarships

Admissions scholarships are available to newly admitted students who have not started the program. Scholarship requirements must be met before November 1 for spring semester and June 1 for fall semester. Funding is limited: scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Note:

  • All scholarship awards consider both merit and need.
  • Students can only receive one admissions scholarship.
  • Scholarship decisions may factor in elements of your application, including: interviews, essays, work experience, and GPA
  • Many scholarships are disbursed over several semesters; Students on academic probation will no longer be eligible for scholarships.
  • University of Utah employees utilizing the reduced tuition benefit are ineligible for admissions scholarships.

This scholarship will be automatically awarded to newly admitted students who have completed an undergraduate degree within the past five years at the University of Utah.

This scholarship is for candidates who have demonstrated exceptional leadership in the public sector or within non-profit organizations and have positively impacted their community.

Additional Scholarships

The following scholarship opportunities are not offered directly by our program, but they may be an excellent option to fund your education.

Those hoping to participate in the Lassonde Entrepreneur Institute while enrolled in the program may be eligible for additional scholarships. For example, Professional MBA students can receive elective academic credit and a scholarship for participation in the New Venture Development Center.
