What was your most memorable experience as an Eccles student?

As a student of the Eccles School, I have had so many amazing experiences and made so many incredible memories. My most memorable experiences, however, have been the opportunities I have had to learn outside the classroom. As an undergraduate, I have been able to travel both internationally and domestically to meet with and learn from businesses and professionals. Moreover, through programs such as the Goff Strategic Leadership Fellowship, I have been able to engage with clients to address complex real-world business problems faced by their organizations. Through these activities and more, I have developed valuable knowledge and skills as well as long-lasting relationships with friends and mentors that I will take with me as I begin my professional career.

What clubs, competitions, and/or activities did you participate in?

As an undergraduate, I have participated in a number of activities and organizations such as Professional Business Leaders (PBL), the Business Scholars Program, the Goff Strategic Leadership Fellowship, Eccles Ambassadors, Legal Scholars, and several case competitions.

What was your favorite class?

Goff Strategic Leadership (STRAT 5850)

Is there anyone you’d like to thank, acknowledge or shout out?

I’d like to sincerely thank Bonita Austin. She has been not only an amazing professor but a true mentor, leader, and inspiration to me academically, personally, and professionally. I have learned more from her than from another person during my time at the Eccles School. I truly believe that my undergraduate and professional careers have been forever changed by her and her mentorship. She is an incredible educator and a valuable asset to the David Eccles School of Business. I will be forever grateful for what she has taught me.
