As an MSF student, you have a number of opportunities to network with finance executives and gain hands-on experience. Each semester students can attend a U.S. study trip, touring financial institutions large and small around the country and connecting with industry leaders. Additionally, our top-ranked faculty are one of your greatest networking resources. With both industry and academic experience, professors help you apply theory to the real world and make the industry connections needed to excel in the finance world.
The MSF curriculum is industry-driven and built upon a foundation of hands-on learning. Advanced finance courses including CFA preparation, financial modeling and data analytics give you in-demand skills that you can immediately apply to industry.
The MSF program is STEM-designated, and international students starting Fall 2017 or later are eligible to work in the U.S. for up to 36 months post-graduation. We’ve added classes in data science and technology to ensure you’re getting the skills needed to excel in the innovative finance world. With a high-demand for jobs both in Utah and in the U.S., F-1 graduates are well-equipped to start their careers immediately after graduation.
