Mark your calendars for the annual Eccles Gala hosted by the Business Student Government at the David Eccles School of Business on Sept. 12, 2023, from 4–6 p.m., in Child Hall (SFEBB, 7th Floor).
The Eccles Gala’s inaugural launch corresponded with the construction of the Spencer Fox Eccles Business Building. It has served as a way for students to find a great community and enjoy the views. The Gala is one of the many ways the Eccles School bridges the gaps between students, faculty, and staff outside the classroom.
We are excited to gather in the same space nearly a decade later! Trends, music, and life may have changed ten years later, but the commitment to community building at the David Eccles School of Business has remained the same.
Join us for a night of networking with peers, professionals, and professors from each business major! Each attendee will choose a name tag with colored dots that correlates with their planned major to facilitate connecting with those in their intended profession. Semi-formal attire is encouraged; ultimately, we want you to wear what you feel most comfortable in! If desired, make an appointment with BCS Career Closet (GARFF 1300) to borrow complimentary professional attire!
Dinner from Elizabeth’s Catering and plenty of refreshments from Thirst and RubySnap will be served!
In addition, we are happy to announce that Lake City Photo Booth will be available from 4–6 p.m. for all attendees to capture a photo to remember the night with their Digital Photo Booth. So, don’t miss this excellent opportunity to get more involved on campus and interact with our community!
All attendees who complete our survey at the Gala will be entered into our opportunity drawing and have a chance to win gift cards from GrubHub and Amazon. And for Business Scholars, passport points will be available! We hope to see you all there!
