Many schools tout their rankings, but less time is devoted to explaining why you, as the prospective student, should care. Princeton Review ranked the University of Utah David Eccles School of Business #7 in the world after completing an in-depth survey of students and alumni that allows them to rate their faculty, classmates, academic experiences, and overall satisfaction with the program.
We’re proud of the work we’ve done at the Eccles School, so here are 10 reasons we’re ranked in the top 10, taken directly from Princeton Review’s verbatim student responses:
1
2
Students choose the University of Utah for its “great reputation” and “cutting-edge” outlook.
3
When they start the program, students love how “the program is run extremely effectively” and that the “administration is always responsive and accommodating.”
4
“There was a perfect mix of lectures, group work, mixers, and time to get to know our instructors.”
5
One student remarked, “My e-mails are answered within one hour, even at 2 a.m.” Members of the program all attend a three-day, on-campus residency during their first year, which students say is “fantastic.” While we can’t promise an immediate response at 2 a.m. every time, our faculty commit to 24 hour maximum response times.
