Follow Brenda as she explores a few of the many free campus resources at the University of Utah. She starts with Utah’s public transportation system, TRAX, which is free to use for students. After this, she heads to the library and checks out a MacBook for the semester free of charge, rents a free study room, and grabs some free food from the Feed U Pantry. Next, she heads to the Student Life Center to exercise, and then to the Student Union where you can play pool or even rent a lane for bowling.
Brenda is a first semester student from Peru pursuing her Master’s of Science in Information Systems. Before coming to the Eccles School, she earned her bachelor’s degree in International Business and Marketing in Florida in 2017. Later, she went to work in marketing and operations in the banking industry. While working in the business world, she discovered how much she enjoys learning about applied technologies and decided to move to Salt Lake to learn from experts in the field. When Brenda is not learning about technology, she likes to travel, learn about different cultures, sing karaoke, and dance.
