Undergraduate Information Systems majors at the University of Utah David Eccles School of Business who excel academically have the opportunity to streamline their admissions process and waive the GMAT/GRE requirement when applying for the Master of Science in Information Systems (MSIS) Online program.

BS/MS Co-Terminal Program
BS/MS Co-Terminal Program
Current IS majors are encouraged to apply for the BS/MS Information Systems Co-Terminal program, a unique program that allows students a seamless transition from the undergraduate to graduate program.
- Waive the GMAT/GRE and letters of recommendation on your MSIS application
- Start the MSIS program immediately following or concurrently with your undergraduate degree
- Receive a BS/MS scholarship
- Minimum 3.2 IS GPA and 3.0 cumulative GPA required
- Must be a current undergraduate IS major (cannot have graduated)

Fast Track Application
Fast Track Application
Information System alumni from the Eccles School or a partnership school are eligible to submit the MSIS fast track application, a streamlined application process that allows students to waive select application requirements after they’ve completed their bachelor’s degree.
- Waive the GMAT/GRE and letters of recommendation on your MSIS application
- Eligible for an alumni scholarship if your apply for and will start the MSIS program within five years of your undergraduate graduation
- Minimum 3.2 IS GPA and 3.0 cumulative GPA required
- The MSIS program application and essays are still required
