An exclusive experience for MRED students, the mentor program gives students the opportunity to be mentored by top real estate professionals. Experts in development, investments, capital markets, management, banking, brokerage, corporate real estate, and more offer their time and industry knowledge to current students, adding an important dynamic to the MRED curriculum. Through the mentor program, students enhance their learning experience and establish key professional relationships early in their careers.

Time Commitment

Students meet with their mentor once per month from October through April. This provides ample opportunity for interaction in various settings, without being burdensome to the mentor or student. Meeting suggestions include allowing the assigned student to participate in company meetings and site visits, providing feedback and advice to the student, assisting with deals students are pursuing, sharing lessons learned, and more. Mentors have the freedom and flexibility to structure the mentorship meeting based on their schedules.

Note: All efforts will be made to match students with a mentor in their desired development segment; however, students may be matched with professionals in other segments. Students should carefully assess their ability to meet the program time commitment before applying.
