Dallas, Texas UREC Trip

The Utah Real Estate Club recently visited Dallas where students met with senior executives from Lincoln Property Company, Crow Holdings, and JLL. The trip provided valuable insights into market trends, investment strategies, and exposure across multiple real estate sectors, enhancing everyone’s industry knowledge.

Join us for a seminar facilitated by Janis Skrastins, Associate Professor of Finance, Washington University in St. Louis, Olin Business School. Professor Skrastins’ work shows an economically significant causal effect of home ownership on fertility.

Las Vegas, Nevada MRED ICSC Trip

Several MRED students traveled to Las Vegas for the International Council of Shopping Centers tradeshow, where they had the opportunity to network and visit exciting development projects.

MRED Takes On Asia!

In June of 2024, MRED students embarked on a whirlwind journey to six different countries over just two weeks. The itinerary included (in order) Tokyo, Seoul, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Hanoi, and finally Singapore to finish the trip.

The travelers visited commercial real estate offices, luxury retail environments, and some of the top property development groups in the continent. There was also plenty of sightseeing—including stops at the tallest building in each city—sampling of local cuisine, and meeting new friends—all while trying to outrun jetlag.

Students traveled St. George to tour Desert Color, a master-planned community, Dinosaur Crossing, a retail property, the Advenire, a hospitality property and a multi-family home in the City View apartments.

Our final stop was the ICSC Conference in Las Vegas where thousands of industry experts, deal makers, students and more come together to promote and elevate the spaces where we all live, work and play.
