Daniel Corrêa Von Wallwitz is the 2020 outstanding graduate for his exceptional achievements in the Quantitative Analysis of Markets and Organizations program. Daniel was born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil, and will graduate with his QAMO degree this May. “Daniel knows everybody and does everything. He’s an economist, he’s an accountant, he’s a Brazilian, he’s the former President of the Business Economics Society, he’s a researcher, he’s a scholar, and he’s a gentleman,” said Scott Schaefer, John W. McIntyre Family Endowed Chair for Free Market Economics and professor of finance. “He works hard, asks great questions, speaks up, and has generally made the Eccles School and the University of Utah a better place!” Upon graduation he will start working full-time with Ernst & Young in their People Advisory Services practice at the SLC office while simultaneously pursuing a Master of Accounting degree part-time with a Business Analytics emphasis.
