Eccles School student Gus Stevens has been awarded the prestigious Francis Family Foundation-Undergraduate Research Scholarships for Spring 2020 for his research with Professor Elena Asparouhova.
The John A. and Irene F. Francis Endowment fund was established in 2010 in memory of Irene F. Francis, and to acknowledge the work of John G. Francis, professor of political science at the University of Utah. The aim of the fund is to provide undergraduate students and faculty members at the University of Utah the opportunity to work together on research or creative projects. Stevens is one of eight students to receive the $1,200 scholarship. The award is only given to students who have already been awarded research scholarships for two previous semesters. This third semester scholarship recognizes the dedication of these hardworking students.
