At the David Eccles School of Business, we understand that a well-rounded business education is more than lectures and reading. Throughout the program, MSBA students take the knowledge gained in the classroom and put it into applicable practice. Hands-on participation is an integral part of the student experience!
Experiential Learning
The Lassonde New Venture Development Center gives students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in technical product development, commercialization, and new-business planning. Participants work alongside faculty, industry professionals, and entrepreneurs to bring ideas to life. Students leave the program ready to meet the tech industry’s next challenge with real-world experience in technology entrepreneurship.
The TEK Club is open to all students who have an interest in the intersection of business and technology. Club members have the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of C.S. and I.S.-related activities throughout the year, including exclusive networking events, career fairs, guest speakers, and company visits. Students from various programs at the University join the TEK Club, creating a rich member-to-member networking experience.
