All students, both undergraduate and graduate, are welcome to attend this session as speakers share their experiences as women in typically male-dominated environments, and how coding skills have shaped their career and educational opportunities. Panel members include:

  • Cynthia Wang, QAMO and Computer Sciences Major

Networking Session

Join us for an opportunity to chat, share needs or experiences with your peers, and find ways to stay in contact. Attendees will break out based on majors and undergraduate and graduate programs. All students in the Information Systems, Quantitative Analysis of Markets & Organizations (QAMO), Master of Science in Information Systems (MSIS), Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA), or BS/MS Information Systems Co-Terminal programs or those interested in these majors/degrees are invited to attend.

Skill-Building Session

This casual event is a space for women to learn about opportunities both within and outside the University of Utah to gain coding skills. Participants will have the opportunity within the session to start using Grasshopper, a free online coding course.

All students, both undergraduate and graduate, are invited. No coding experience necessary.

Technical Interviews

Melissa Kraft, Director of Student Professional Development & Placement, will present helpful information on how to prepare for technical interviews. She will share applicable resources available to students through Business Career Services.
