Tom Eldredge is an Associate Professor (Lecturer) in the Accounting Department. He teaches audit, AIS, computer security and financial accounting. He writes and reviews technology and control related questions for the CPA exam. Tom has more than 20 years of professional experience and serves as the Salt Lake City office’s Professional Standards partner. As an Audit Services partner, Eldredge has helped his teams successfully deliver audit, process and control services locally and globally. He serves clients in a variety of industries, with a focus in the direct selling, manufacturing, transportation and gaming industries. He understands the complexity of the regulatory, international and other multifaceted issues that companies in those industries face. Eldredge is a frequent writer about control- and audit-related matters in college textbooks and for questions in the Uniform CPA Examination. As a Professional Standards partner, his focus is on the quality of audits delivered by Grant Thornton teams.
