Summer was a born and raised in St. George and has continued to love living in Utah. She received her B.S. in Recreation Management and Nonprofit Management from Brigham Young University (2017) and is actively pursuing a M.S. in Academic Advising from Kansas State University. At BYU, she discovered her passion of working with students through her role of coordinating travel for various study abroad programs in the business school.

Prior to joining the Undergraduate Advising Service team, Summer worked as a Clinical Coordinator in graduate healthcare education. She enjoys helping students figure out the logistics of the schooling process so that they can proceed to reach their personal and academic goals and make the most out of their college experience.

In her free time, Summer enjoys going to see local theater with her friends. Summer has fun with lots of hobbies such as kickboxing and tarot reading. She also loves spending time with her family watching football and playing board games.
