Sophie Stout

As a first-generation and transfer student, Sophie has seen the influence of administrative support during the pursuit of education firsthand. She is driven by an unwavering passion for closing equity gaps in education. Her mission is to create a brighter future by empowering individuals of all backgrounds to access quality education and personal growth. She hopes to make those around her feel more seen, celebrated, welcomed and uplifted in their interactions with her.

As Program Manager of Student Engagement and Belonging, Sophie oversees and mentors the Business Student Government, supports Eccles Recognized Student Organizations, develops and implements school-wide student engagement and belonging initiatives, manages day-to-day operations of In a Pinch, (Eccles Basic Need Initiative), and is the advisor for the Business Transfer Student Society. She loves her job and is fortunate to work with such incredible students!
