Jeff Jensen has worked in healthcare for 30 years, with over 15 years in senior leadership positions. Jeff graduated with a BS in Accounting from Weber State University in 1990, beginning his healthcare career at Intermountain Healthcare’s Primary Children’s Hospital in finance and accounting. He received a Master of Business Administrations degree from Utah State University in 1998, after which he became the Chief Financial Officer (CFO)/Operations Officer at Intermountain’s Pocatello Regional Medical Center in Pocatello, Idaho. Jeff later moved back to Utah, accepting a position with IASIS Healthcare, first as a hospital CFO, then as a Regional CFO. Jeff returned to Primary Children’s Hospital in 2005 with oversight of patient account and medical records services. He moved back into the finance area in 2007 with Intermountain Healthcare, first as the Finance Director/CFO at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray Utah, then as the CFO of Intermountain’s Medical Group and Community Based Care/Population Health division, with additional financial oversight of Intermountain’s Value Based Care initiatives. He retired from Intermountain at the end of 2020.
Jeff and his wife Julie live in Layton, Utah and they are the parents of three children and one grandchild. Jeff enjoys spending time with his family, restoring old cars, reading, photography, and the outdoors and is a strong proponent of continuous learning. He served on the Fourth Street Clinic’s Board of Directors for nine years, also having served in leadership roles as the Board Vice Chair and Board Chair. He completed his board service after three terms at the end of 2021. He continues to volunteer with the clinic, supporting strategic initiatives and other work.
