Adjunct Faculty & Director, Student Education
Dana (BS MGT ’78) started at the University of Utah Career Services in 1989 and assigned to business students for help with career planning and job search strategies. After many years as a career counselor and 15 years as Associate Director, she was invited to create an expanded service at the David Eccles School of Business called Business Career Services. BCS has now grown to 14 professionals and extensive resources to continue directly helping Eccles business students and grads while coordinating with staff and faculty colleagues across campus.
As a career coach, Dana’s favorite activity is using her top five strengths (StrengthsFinder) and quizzing students about their dream jobs so she can help prepare them to make connections with top employers.

Her greatest satisfaction comes as students go full circle from student – to intern – to graduate – to professional – to mentor for other students – to employer hiring more students!
Passions include spending time with family and friends at “U” football, basketball and gymnastics events – Go Utes!
