Colby joined the Business Career Services team at the David Eccles School of Business in June 2021. Colby’s responsibilities include mentoring the Sales Club at the U, co-instructing MGT 5880: Daniels Fund Ethics Initiative for Academic Credit, and career coaching undergraduate Information Systems students.
He credits his undergraduate degree, campus involvement and graduate assistantship to focusing on student development and leadership, and career services. Colby enjoys coaching students to recognize and tap into their full potential and career possibilities. He is committed to helping students develop skills and competencies to assist in their career and leadership journey.
Colby was born and raised in Marion, New York where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Media Management from St. John Fisher College. After spending two years working with not-for-profits, Colby returned to the classroom to pursue his Master of Education in Counselor Education, Student Affairs from Clemson University.
Outside of work, Colby enjoys anxiously watching the Buffalo Bills and Clemson Tigers play football, live music, and popular culture/media. He explores communities through one trail run, hike, small coffee shop, and independent bookstore at a time.
