Agnes Guenther

Agnes Guenther is an ENS Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Department of Entrepreneurship & Strategy in the David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah. Her research lies at the intersection of strategic human capital, corporate strategy, and entrepreneurship and centers around questions of value creation and appropriation. Agnes Guenther’s contribution to the field of strategy has been internationally recognized. She was selected as an SRF Dissertation Scholar by the Strategy Research Foundation of the Strategic Management Society in 2019, and her dissertation was nominated for the STR Outstanding Dissertation Award in Strategic Management by the Academy of Management in 2022. Her research is published in Journals such as Strategy Science. She teaches strategic management at the Eccles School of Business.

Agnes Guenther received a Ph.D. from Copenhagen Business School, a M.Sc. from Delft University of Technology, and a BA from the University of Arts Braunschweig. Prior to her doctoral studies, she worked at the University of Sydney and in industry.
