Our professors provide world-class education in the classroom, be that in-person or online, and the opportunities to build your networks and your resumes will continue. Summer Semester is also a great opportunity for out-of-state students as all students pay resident tuition during the summer.

A great thing for a college student is to get involved with the community around them, and an excellent way to do that is through student clubs. The Eccles School provides numerous opportunities for engagement, including more than 30 student clubs and organizations.
Eccles Global Learning Abroad (EGLA) is the learning abroad program for the David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah. Eccles Global is committed to creating a safe, affordable learning abroad program to engage students in worldwide business education that instills the skill set students need to compete internationally. Our programs are unique in that all of our classes are taught by the same top-ranked faculty at the Eccles School. Students, staff, and faculty spend one week to one semester studying business with an international focus. Students often participate in weekend excursions and make lifelong friends.
All students at the University of Utah are welcome to participate in programs, workshops, competitions, and more at the Lassonde Entrepreneur Institute, a top-ranked and interdisciplinary division of the David Eccles School of Business. Participating is a great way to learn by doing, launch a company, join a team, and have some fun.
All students are welcome to live at Lassonde Studios and join the Lassonde 400 residential group. Residents live in the middle of it all and get additional access to tools and programs. Lassonde Studios is a five-story home for student entrepreneurs, innovators, and creators at the University of Utah.

We will have unique living options, workshops, grants, makerspace, tools, scholarships, summer fun, and more. Join the Kahlert Initiative on Technology this summer to earn part of your Digital Literacy Certificate while engaging in excursions and activities with your cohort at no extra cost.
Get a head start as a business student! The Eccles Beginnings Summer Bridge program is a four-week bridge program (July 5-30, 2021) for incoming freshmen who are first-generation students, or who come from underrepresented backgrounds, and who are interested in studying business.
Lassonde+X is an introductory academic program for all undergraduate students from all backgrounds and majors (the X) to explore and practice entrepreneurship. It is provided by the David Eccles School of Business and Lassonde Entrepreneur Institute at the University of Utah, which have an entrepreneur program ranked among the top 10 in the nation.
The Goff Explorers Summer Internship Program is a 1-credit course open to rising sophomores and juniors looking for their first internship. When you register for the course (STRAT 5850-001), you’ll be matched with a summer internship site. Over the summer, you’ll build relationships with fellow Explorers and mentors, as well as gain leadership skills and confidence. Open to all UofU majors, this course has a priority registration deadline of April 30.
