Company Description:  Sonic Solutions is a developer of software. The company has introduced an encoder for both HD-DVD and Blu-Ray Disc Titles. Also, they have unvieled the world's first solution for the creation of HD-DVD Advanced Content. HD-DVD and Blu-Ray are competing to be the next DVD. On the Blu-Ray Side are Sony, and Phillips. HD-DVD is used by Toshiba, Microsoft and Intel. Sony is planning on having Blu-Ray in the PS3 where X-Box will have the HD-DVD. Blu-Ray is the better technology, but is a little further away, and at the current time much more expensive.
