Timing:  The company has recently experienced a significant price drop.
Reason:  We examined three different solar panel manufacturers. There is a strong focus on alternative energy internationally and we believe governments will continue to offer incentives to "go green." We selected SunPower because of its high efficiency products. In addition, there are some environmental concerns with companies using thin film technology.

Reason:  Solar power remains less cost effective than other technologies. Government subsidies have helped to offset the higher cost. The current deficit situation in the United States and the debt crisis in Europe suggest that renewable energy subsidies may face a tough environment in the near term. Therefore, the fund decided it would be more productive to invest in a different area at this time.
