Timing:  We bought in the middle of the six month range.
Reason:  Qunatenna has developed a chip that allows for HD video over multiple channels simultaneously allowing routers to process requests from multiple sources simultaneously. As the internet-of-things grows, demand for efficiently allocating bandwidth is growing. Qunatenna has established a strategy of being first to market with new technologies and has established good relationships with suppliers. The company is expected to reach profitability in 2017. Our analysts expect the price to rise significantly either as a result of profitability or as the result of a takeover bid.

Timing:  x
Reason:  Quantenna's current product offerings are not compatible with the most likely new IEEE standards for WiFi. WiFi products make up nearly all of Quantenna's sales. Quantenna has lower margins than its closest competitors. It is likely that QNTA would need to cut R&D to achieve industry-level margins, but this would impede the company's ability to maintain revenues.
