Purchase
Timing:  We bought near the six month high.
Reason:  After analyzing the mix of securities in our portfolio, we decided we needed to increase our exposure to the consumer staple sector. P&G has an extremely strong portfolio of brands. As we climb out of recession, we believe consumers will return to brand name products.

Sale
Timing:
Reason:  Procter & Gamble has traded in a narrow range all year. We do not anticipate any dramatic price moves in the near future. We sold to free up cash for other, more promising investment opportunities.
