Timing:  We bought at the six month low.
Reason:  The peer-to-peer lending space is poised for growth and LC is well-positioned within the market.

Timing:  The stock had declined precipitously.
Reason:  Lending Club's stock price plummeted following revelations that Lending Club employees had falsified data in loan applications to improve their appeal to potential lenders. The company has been forced to raise rates on loans to attract lenders, which discourages borrowers from using the platform. We do not expect the company to recover in the short run.
