Timing:  We bought in the middle of the six month range.
Reason:  Analysts were impressed by AMBA's best-in-class technology, growth opportunities, and good market position.

Timing:  0
Reason:  Ambarella has produced good returns. However, the semi-conductor market is largely a commodity market. Ambarella's chips are still superior, but the company currently has an estimated lead of only six to nine months over Qualcomm, which is a much larger company. Further, AMBA continues to have a large exposure to GoPro, making it a relatively risky company. We decided that this was a good time to recognize our profits.
