She is actively involved on campus, serving as a member of the Operations & Supply Chain Club, Goff Trailblazers, and First Ascent Scholars. Additionally, Elizabeth is a Business Scholars Ambassador and a Student Leader for Housing and Residential Education. Outside of academics, she enjoys watching movies, listening to music, and spending time with family and friends.<\/p>\n<p>In an interview, Elizabeth shared one of her most memorable experiences at the Eccles School \u2014 an Operations & Supply Chain case competition.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe experience was more challenging than I had anticipated. Transitioning from learning theoretical concepts in the classroom to applying them to a real-world problem that required thorough technical analysis was a grueling learning process,\u201d she said. \u201cThe journey was harder than I had anticipated it to be, but thankfully, all of my team\u2019s efforts paid off when we placed in the competition! It was a fun and thrilling opportunity that definitely contributed to who I am as a student.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This competition sparked Elizabeth\u2019s interest in the Goff Trailblazers program, where she is now working on a consulting project focused on clean energy research and advancing a more sustainable future.<\/p>\n<p>When asked for advice she would offer to fellow students, Elizabeth emphasized the importance of building personal connections in addition to extracurricular involvement.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhile there\u2019s a lot of focus on getting involved in clubs and organizations, building connections with the people you sit next to is just as important!\u201d she said. \u201cThere is community in clubs, organizations, and events, but there is also an invaluable sense of community in your classmates.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Ultimately, Elizabeth highlighted the importance of both academic challenges and personal connections in shaping a successful college experience.
