Information Systems Undergraduate Admission

Technology is vital to the success of every business, and companies need professionals who can deploy technology to meet strategic business objectives. Focused on the intersection of business and technology, the Information Systems major provides tools and training that differentiate business graduates in today’s technology market.

Admissions Criteria

  • Completion of Business Fundamentals
  • B or higher in BCOR 2020
  • B or higher in a college algebra course (or a higher level math course)
  • 3.2 or higher total GPA
  • Admitted to the Eccles School (Upper Division)
  • Completion of Business Fundamentals
  • B or higher in IS 4410 or 4411
  • B or higher in a college algebra course (or a higher level math course)
  • 3.2 or higher total GPA
  • Admitted to the Eccles School (Upper Division)
  • B or higher in IS 4410 or IS 4411
  • B or higher in a college algebra course (or a higher level math course)
  • 3.2 or higher total GPA
  • Admitted to the Eccles School (Upper Division)
  • Not eligible for Conditional Admission or Automatic Admission
  • B or higher in IS 4410 or IS 4411
  • B or higher in a college algebra course (or a higher level math course)
  • 2.7-3.29 or higher total GPA

Track A and Track B specifically refers to students in the integrated (BCOR) curriculum. Automatic Admission (Legacy) criteria applies to students in the non-integrated curriculum. To determine which curriculum you are assigned, visit Eccles.link/bcor or email advising@eccles.utah.edu.
