We recognize the valuable experience and skills gained through military service. Any time served in the military counts towards our work experience requirement.

Veterans Support
The University of Utah’s Veterans Support Center can assist you in navigating your benefits and enrollment process. They provide detailed information on tuition assistance and other resources available to veterans.
Why Military Experience Gives You an Edge in MBA Programs
Level of responsibility
Early in their careers, military officers assume responsibility for substantial budgets, costly equipment, and mission-critical performance from their units.
Unparalleled leadership experience.
Military officers live a life of leadership with a highly developed sense of ethics. They develop teams and work with large groups of diverse people to accomplish organizational goals, focusing on decisiveness and succinct communication.
Acquired skills
Military members bring project management know-how, unparalleled ability to overcome challenges, well-honed organizational and time management skills, and more.
Application Fee Waiver
We understand that the application fee can be a barrier to entry for some students so we are offering an application fee waiver for a limited time.
