Two opportunities to join a webinar each month!
Webinar information sessions are a great way to learn about the program as well as have the opportunity to ask questions in a live format from virtually any location. Webinars are typically offered twice per month throughout the semester, with a morning session on the second Wednesday of every month and an evening session on the fourth Wednesday of every month.
Webinars include information about three of our programs: MS Information Systems, MS Information Systems Online and MS Business Analytics. We will also talk about admission, scholarships, and career services for each program. After you register, you will be emailed the links to access the webinar at least 24 hours before it begins. Please note that all times are MST.
Let us help you click submit!
Join us for an interactive webinar dedicated to completing and submitting your strongest possible MSIS application. Attendees who start or continue working on their application during the workshop will receive an application fee waiver at the conclusion of the presentation. Please note that all times are MST.
If you’re able to join us in-person, attend an MSIS on-campus information session to learn more about the program. Information sessions offer an overview of the program, as well as an opportunity to meet the MSIS program leadership, current students, and advising and admissions staff. We will also review the application process.
As a reminder, we are transitioning all our in-person events to online webinars. Click the MSBA Webinar Information Sessions tab for current information sessions.
Join us for lunch with an MSIS Online Graduate Ambassador!
Learn more about the MSIS Online program over lunch with a graduate ambassador (GA). Our GAs are current students, and they’ll be available to answer any questions and share their experience in the MSIS, MSIS Online, or MSBA program. You’ll have the opportunity to network with our students and enjoy a complimentary midday meal on campus in a casual and sociable environment.
Lunch events are typically held once per month. Limited seats are available, so we encourage you to register well ahead of the date. We look forward to seeing you!

Have additional questions about the program? Schedule an individual appointment for your opportunity to meet virtually or by phone with one of our MSIS Admission Coordinators and discuss the application process.
We will answer your questions about graduate program application requirements and provide insight into how applications are evaluated by our admission committee. We can also tell you more about the program, including average candidate statistics, job placement, tuition, and what to expect in MSIS Online classes. The average appointment length is around 10-30 minutes, depending on how many questions you have, and we are available to meet via phone or video conference.
As a prospective MSIS student, you may have several questions about the program: How do I know if the program is right for me? What types of careers will an MSIS degree prepare me for? What are the networking opportunities?
One of the best ways to get to know our program is to meet with one of our graduate ambassadors. As current students, our graduate ambassadors can give you an up-close look at what you can expect from the program and how it can help you meet your goals. They can also assist with the application process and offer tips for submitting your best application.
To request a meeting or phone call with a current student, please contact MSISinfo@Eccles.Utah.edu.
One-on-One meetings with a current graduate ambassador have been temporarily suspended in accordance with current CDC guidelines pertaining to physical distancing during the COVID-19 pandemic.
