My SSP (My Student Support Program)

My SSP is a free app that the U has recently started to provide for students. This app gives students access to immediate, 24-hour support from a licensed counselor. Students receive free help by simply texting or calling a provided counselor, regardless of location or time. Download the My SSP app and set up a Student Profile to get started.

University Counseling Center

The University Counseling Center is located in the Student Services Building, Room 426, near the Union. You can find free massage chairs, group therapy sessions, relationship counseling, and individual counseling at the counseling center. Most services, including individual counseling and group therapy, are free. Connect with them at (801) 581-6826 and explore their website at counselingcenter.utah.edu.

Center for Student Wellness

The Center for Student Wellness has multiple locations in the Eccles Student Life Center and the Student Services Building in Room 330. This center focuses on a holistic and inclusive approach to mental health. Services include workshops, training, Victim Survivor Advocacy, HIV/STI Testing, and Wellness Coaching.
