The annual 1917-Minute Challenge will officially kick off tomorrow, October 29th at noon! Dean Taylor Randall is calling on all alumni, donors, staff, faculty and students to make scholarships our top priority and you can help by giving back. We have 1,917 minutes to find 1,000 donors committed to changing the lives of students at the David Eccles School of Business.

How can you get involved?

  1. Make a gift

During this campaign, every gift counts: big or small! We currently have the lowest alumni participation rate in the entire Pac-12 at 3.2%. Within the next 4 years, we will be working to increase the participation rate to 10% which means we need 3,822 alumni to become donors. With our goal of reaching 1,000 donors during this challenge, we will be off to a great start!

This is a participation-based challenge and is meant to encourage more donors to give, rather than focusing on the amount given. To help motivate us to our goal of 1,000 donors we have the opportunity to unlock 4 challenge grants throughout the campaign thanks to generous donations from our incredible donors.

  1. Spread the Word

Help us share the campaign with your friends, family, and fellow classmates using your social media channels, text, and emails. Use #1917challenge to show us how you are supporting the 1917-Minute Challenge.

Use our advocate toolkit to access an email template, social media graphics and talking points. With each share on social media, our reach grows exponentially so we mean it when we say: we cannot do this without your help!

We hope that you will join us in reaching a record breaking 1,000 donors during this year’s campaign. Donations of all amounts are welcome and will support the school’s greatest need of increasing scholarships for our amazing students.
