Fergus Stevens is graduating with an Honors Bachelor of Science in Finance with a minor in Computer Science for his hard work with his thesis titled “Human-Algorithm Interactions with Fundamental and Predatory Trading Robots.” Fergus was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah but will be moving to Scottsdale, Arizona, to work for Vanguard after graduation. Tell us something about your thesis – your research, your findings, or what you learned:

The thesis involves algorithms which I developed and, in the paper, proved their success in laboratory markets.

What was your most memorable experience as an Eccles student?

My most memorable experience was my semester abroad in London. The semester was incredible, and I loved immersing myself in the local culture.
