David A. Rupp is the 2020 outstanding graduate for his tremendous achievements in the Master of Business Creation program. David came to the David Eccles School of Business from Hyde Park, Utah and will graduate with an MBC graduate degree. “Dave Rupp, a Founder in the inaugural cohort of the Master of Business Creation program, is generous in sharing his knowledge with members of the cohort, steady as an entrepreneur building his company, and dedicated to the adventurous spirit embodied in his product, Drift Boards,” said Jack Brittain, former Dean of the Eccles School and current Pierre Lassonde Presidential Chair in Entrepreneurship. “Dave’s ride has been as wild as one of his back-country adventures, and through it all he has excelled in the challenges presented by the program while embodying a commitment to delivering the absolutely best engineered product on the market to his customers. Drift is opening a new adventure terrain for the serious snowboarder.” His plans after graduation include continuing to run Drift, make great products, and go on a vacation. Congratulations David, and welcome to your alumni network! Read on to see David’s answers to our questions about his Eccles Experience.
