Regina Mavis was born and raised in Guam and later moved with her family to Seattle, Washington where she attended the University of Washington and received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication. She also earned her Master of Science in Information Systems at the David Eccles School of Business.
Before joining the University of Utah, she worked in diverse fields including banking, corporate administration, and higher education.
Being one of the first in her family to get a university degree and having put herself through college, Regina understands the importance of higher education and is eager to help others pursue opportunities through higher education. When she’s not at work Regina enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, hiking, and swimming.
