Mikel Brownie brings 30 years of experience in the Facilities Management and Project Management fields to the School of Business, where he uses that expertise in the care and feeding of the physical facilities of the school. He built a large part of his expertise working for 20 years with Hewlett Packard at their Inkjet Division in Vancouver Washington (Not B.C.!) managing over 1 million square feet of office, manufacturing, and R&D space, in that same capacity.

Mikel is a former staff sergeant in the United States Air Force and Air National Guard, providing avionics support to HH3 Jolly Green Giant Helicopters, HH-60 Pavehawk Helicopters, and C-130 Hercules aircraft assigned to the 129th Aerospace Rescue & Recovery Squadron.

Mikel is a native of Napa, California, and is happily married to his beautiful wife. They have 5 children – 3 sons, 2 daughters – and 3 grandchildren, who he loves to spoil every chance he gets. He loves to golf and work with his hands when he’s not at the school making sure the lights stay on.
