Students need add codes, also known as permission numbers, when they cannot enroll in courses for various reasons. (Often, transfer students need add codes because the registration system does not recognize that they fulfilled a prerequisite at another institution.)
Each semester, the David Eccles School of Business facilitates the “Golden Ticket” process. This add code process provides consistency, maintains the integrity of the prerequisite enforcement system and respects instructors’ discretion.
