Curriculum

The Quantitative Analysis of Markets and Organizations (QAMO) major is designed to give students a rigorous training in the application of economics to business decision-making. This major has a different structure from other Eccles School undergraduate majors. QAMO majors are not required to take the Eccles School core requirements, and instead follow a different core that includes advanced courses in mathematics, statistics, economics, and business.

In addition to the courses below, students seeking a Bachelor of Science in QAMO must complete the University of Utah’s graduation requirements, including General Education and Bachelor’s Degree requirements. Students seeking an Honors Bachelor of Science in QAMO must complete the major’s honors requirements, as well.
