Executives in Residence

Connecting students with financial leaders and industry professionals is a paramount calling card of the MSF program. Our executives in residence have more than 50 years of combined experience in the finance industry and help our students gain an unparalleled exposure to networking opportunities and industry insights.

David Anderson, MBA

David Anderson works with students to better connect them to opportunities in the finance industry. He came to the Eccles School after spending 24 years in investment banking, during which he completed transactions in more than 25 countries.

Kent Cannon

Kent H. Cannon joined the MSF program after 30 years in the insurance and financial services industry. Kent enhances the student’s classroom experience with project-based consulting experiences in the professional community.

James Claus, PhD

James Claus joined the MSF program in fall 2015. Bringing more than 20 years of investment management experience to the program, he develops students to be leaders in financial analysis and management, focusing on combining valuation and financial analysis with technology.

Meghan Siripurapu, CFA

Meghan Siripurapu is a fixed income expert with over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry. She has worked in debt advisory, trading, origination, and investment banking. She is adept at creating and growing B2B financial services offerings, as well as marketing, project management, strategy, and sales.

Hal Tolley

Harold (“Hal”) Tolley joined the MS Finance program as an executive-in-residence in winter 2018, bringing more than 30 years of technology and data analysis experience in the financial sector to the program. Hal works with graduate students, faculty, and staff helping address the financial technology issues of the future.
