The University of Utah’s Master of Real Estate Development (MRED) program is a member of the prestigious University Alliance Program of the CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) Institute. Because of our membership in the Alliance, MRED graduates can complete their CCIM designation on the CCIM University Fast Track program. The MRED degree automatically counts for four of the five required courses for CCIM designation. To qualify for CCIM designation, MRED graduates need only complete CI103, pass the CCIM comprehensive exam, and submit a professional portfolio of qualifying experience.
The MRED program at the David Eccles School of Business is one of only 12 programs that is a designated affiliate of the Appraisal Institute. This program allows MRED students interested in real estate valuation to apply program credit toward education and experience requirements needed for the Appraisal Institute MAI Designated membership.
See the Appraisal Institute website for more information about the program.
