The Refugee Program housed at and supported by the David Eccles School of Business helps students with a refugee background earn their college degrees.

Michelle Conley, director of the program, and three refugee students recently spoke with The Salt Lake Tribune to share their stories and highlight an upcoming trip to Washington D.C., where they will learn more about the political process and meet with Sen. Orrin Hatch. The students are part of the statewide The Refugee Education Initiative, which was started by real estate magnate Roger Boyer.
