The University of Utah Phi Beta Lambda (PBL) Club received 1st place at the State Leadership Conference (SLC) as the Outstanding Chapter of the Year, earning the most points amongst the five colleges competing. As the second largest chapter at the competition, all 20 students who competed qualified for the National Leadership Conference (NLC) in Baltimore this summer.

Each year, the PBL Club at the David Eccles School of Business has grown and become more competitive at the state and national competitions. Although many students in this club have backgrounds in DECA, FBLA, and business, this club is actually open to students of all majors. This unique aspect of PBL club has broadened the diversity and competitive edge of the club as a whole. Overall, PBL club is centered around giving students opportunities to network and apply their knowledge through tests, presentations, and case studies.

Congratulations to PBL Club and best of luck at the national competition in June!
